OVERVIEW
Youth riders between the ages of 8 and 14 looking to hone your mountain bike skills and build confidence on the bike, this is the camp for you! Based out of South Germantown Recreation Park, and more specifically the South Germantown Bike Park, camp attendees will have five days of expert instruction and the opportunity to ride several of the area's best trail networks. This camp is intended for beginner to intermediate-level riders who have a solid base of cycling ability and are ready to spend more time riding and applying their mountain bike skills to more advanced trails.
After drop-off at South Germantown Recreational Park each morning, instructors will lead unique mountain bike skills drills, and then the trail riding begins! We will ride new trails some days while focusing on specific skills, and then revisit certain trails throughout the week to see just how much we've advanced and the progress everyone has made. We will stop to hydrate and stay fueled up as needed throughout the day, and take a good break for lunch.
Food:
We ask that riders bring their own lunch. We provide plenty of fluids, ride food, and snacks.
Getting there:
South Germantown Recreation Park is located in Boyds, Maryland. The Camp check-in, drop-off, and pick-up will all be based out of the driving range clubhouse. The address for the clubhouse is:

WHAT YOU NEED
Working mountain bike (fat, knobby tires) with gears, hand brakes, and 24" wheels or larger
Helmet
Sunglasses and cycling gloves (recommended)
Lunch (Due to COVID, we are asking each rider to bring their own lunch. Snacks will be provided personally by coaches.)
